The statements made below on the disposal of disused Lobaro devices are binding only for customers within Germany. Customers in other countries should contact their local authorities to obtain appropriate information.
A primary goal of the EU Directive 2002/96 / EC is to minimize the disposal of electrical / electronic equipment together with unsorted municipal waste and to achieve a high level of separate collection and recycling of electrical / electronic equipment. Electronic equipment may contain substances that are harmful to the environment and human health and must not be disposed of along with household waste.
WEEE
The WEEE directive (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is the European Directive 2002/96 / EC in order to reduce the increasing amount of electronic waste from disused electrical and electronic equipment. The aim is the avoidance, reduction and environment friendly disposal of the increasing amounts of electronic waste through extended producer responsibility.
Proper disposal of B2B Lobaro devices
Lobaro devices are designed and marketed for professional use. Accordingly, they have been recognized by the responsible German agency “Stiftung EAR” (Waste Electrical Equipment Register) as B2B (business to business) products. At “EAR” the registration number of Lobaro UG (limited) is DE18824018 .
The B2B classification means that Lobaro is not responsible for picking up electrical / electronic equipment at the municipal collection places as the ElektroG requires of the producers of products intended for the consumer market of electrical / electronic devices.
Consequently, our products must not be disposed of in this way.
Instead, we offer our customers to take back no longer used Lobaro devices and recycle them properly at our expense.
Equipment for disposal must be sent prepaid to the Lobaro UG and bear the marking “DISPOSAL”.
