Everyday working life at Lobaro

My week at Lobaro in the heart of Hamburg: My tasks are roughly sales, first level support, production planning and control and, in my particular case, the 3D design of housings and accessories.

No two days are the same: Depending on what needs to be done privately before work, e.g. taking the child to nursery, arrival at work is between 08:00 and 10:00. Make tea, check in the meeting room to see if colleagues have left any sweets ;) Check the daily calendar, skim through sales and support tickets, open the ERP system and check the tasks here too, prioritise the requests, plan internal and external production for the coming days and prioritise based on the tickets. Then coordinate with the production manager and external production partners.

Standup is on Mondays at 11:00 am. Listening to what the hardware and software team have developed, what bugs have been fixed and what projects are planned for the week. Working through tickets according to priority, creating quotations, creating orders, negotiating prices with customers, constantly checking stock levels and reordering what is missing. Evaluate delivery dates, telephone customers and subcontractors. Take up new product ideas. Maintain website and documentation, occasional field work with customers, answer the phone from time to time and call customers from Germany, the EU, Scandinavia, UAE or New Zealand, adapt flash scripts for minor software challenges in production or create new customers in the IoT platform Development of hardware: Create CAD models and drawings using Solidworks, perform tolerance analysis statistically & arithmetically - define shape and position tolerances - mark test features Create mould concept and define with mould maker e.g. sprue, cooling concepts, material, ejector layout etc. Follow up D- and P- FMEA, check quality As you can see, there is a lot to do. In order to maintain our quality for our global customers in a rapidly growing area of the Internet of Things and digitalisation, we need support.

Your tasks

If you have a passion for developing new customer relationships and want to drive the entire sales process from lead generation to the final quotation with a lot of initiative and responsibility, then you've come to the right place!

We are an up-and-coming start-up and are looking for someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone and use other channels to get customers excited about our Lobaro hardware and software. You are the first point of contact for potential customers and also manage the growing inbound lead stream. You will ensure a productive dialogue between key account management, marketing and product development. You will present our products confidently and with great enthusiasm, while also contributing your own ideas and impulses in developing and addressing your target groups. Your qualifications

As an ideal candidate, you will have professional experience in sales (in-house or field sales) or in the development of technology-orientated projects. You have a degree in business or engineering, but we also welcome applicants with other specialisations.

If you already have experience in the areas of IoT, automation, energy management, building technology or similar industries, this is a plus. You have strong communication, networking and negotiation skills and have a quick grasp of economic, technical and social contexts. Your way of working is characterised by goal orientation, proactivity and a sense of responsibility. You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English and other foreign languages are also welcome.
